BRINGING BEFORE THE SUN TO LIFE

My team and I have been channeling our inner Frankensteins. We’re halfway through pre-production now, and the film is finally taking shape—slowly, carefully, piece by piece. From scripting and costume design to 3D printing, airbrushing, and building sets, Before the Sun is beginning to breathe on its own thanks to an incredible team of artists.

One of the first elements to emerge was the costume. Christine’s custom-tailored design set the tone immediately—dark, elegant, timeless. Our 200-year-old vampire began as a sketch, then moved through clay, resin, and wood. Carved by hand, wired for movement, painted and stitched into character, he has been coaxed into existence layer by layer.

What started as an idea is now a presence.
Imagination becomes a puppet.
And the story is only just beginning.
