02.05.08 - meat for the beast

Over February 2nd & 3rd I directed the heavy metal music video "Plasma" for Divinity. It was a hard shoot for everyone but somehow by the grace of god we made it through. It was my first time working with animals (and a naked woman drenched in black goo sitting beside a large gargoyle), which proved to be very exhausting but the images are amazing.

We shot this in high definition HD and this is another first for me - so far the images have been welcoming but I still can't help being a bit nervous of this new technology. The set looked just killer (thanks to Mike Matthews and Lindsy) and the costumes were so unique (thanks to Danika). I am currently in a state of exhaustion and excitement ... a weird place to be indeed. I am looking forward to the editing of this video as I think I may be best suited to be stationed in a dark room without human contact for a while.

Thanks everyone - once again you all pulled through for me! I feel I can safely say that this video is my best work to date! See you all at the video release party!
